Synopsis[]
With a dead sister and 25 years to go on her soulmate timer, Anya decides to cryogenically sleep away her problems. Too bad she wakes up to an apocalypse full of them. Now stuck in a burnt out landscape full of killers, Anya must decide which she wants to keep: her heart or her head.

The main protagonist of In the Bleak Midwinter;. A nurse who enters a cryogenic sleep program to sleep away her problems after the untimely death of her little sister. She wakes up after 25 years and finds herself in an entirely different, war-torn world and is shot and "killed" by her soulmate, "The Grey Wolf" aka Omega. She discovers she is immortal, having the ability to come back to life and regenerate. She seeks to end the war between humans and androids, once and for all.
Omega/The Grey Wolf[]
The deuteragonist of In the Bleak Midwinter;. A war general, infamously known by his name "The Grey Wolf", known for being unstoppable and invincible, killing humans without hesitation, and carrying out missions for his brother, Delta. He unknowingly kills his soulmate, Anya, an action which begins the main dynamic of the story. His origins are quite the mystery.
