Lalin's Curse is a Supernatural Webtoon Original created by Isakytm; it updates every Thursday, but is currently on a hiatus.

Synopsis

David is what the supernatural crowd likes to call a “true believer,” a badge the teen wears proudly as he searches for the existence of all things scary and mysterious. When David, alongside his skeptical best friend Felix, are presented with proof that something terrifying may have landed right on their doorstep, the hunt for the Curse of Lalin is on - and life will never be the same again.

Characters

David García Martínez

David loves paranormal things and all subjects related to aliens, mystery, the universe, demons, and supernatural stuff. Due to a slew of strange experiences starting when he was little, he truly believes that there are more things here and there than what meets the eye. However, people around him don't take him too seriously, usually denying his theories and explanations.

Felix López Dorado

The deuteragonist and David's childhood friend. Felix is a pessimistic and lazy person who prefers to relax and not overwork himself. He gets angered very easily, and his sarcastic and somewhat rude attitude can get out of control at times. However, he's quite intelligent and surprisingly mature for his age. And while he is often cynical and rude, he has an overprotective side.

Tobias Ruiz Castro

David and Felix's close friend. Tobias is serious at first sight, but he's very cheerful with his friends. He's not interested in making new ones and prefers to stay with the few he has. He's quiet, responsible and a lot more mature than he looks, although he's easily driven into the craziness his friends do, and he seems to enjoy them. He has a great sense of morality and hates bullies, and he has the capacity to confront problems directly and with logic.

Cody Lozano Blasco

Another friend of the group, Cody claims that supernatural things are nothing more than fiction. Cody is a boy of few words: he doesn't talk a lot, not out of shyness, but simply because he's reserved and polite. Although it may seem that he's not paying attention, he has a critical eye and is always keeping a close watch on his surroundings.

Eric Bermúdez Parejo

Another friend of David & company. Eric is a boy who can't be quiet. He is always cheerful and accepts challenges with enthusiasm. He seems to be older and mature because of his physical appearance, but in reality, he is the most childish around his group of friends, getting angry easily when he doesn't get what he wants. He's clever but is also super lazy.

María Navarro Becerra

A recent friend of the group, who is usually seen with a smile, and has a childish but bright attitude toward any situation. María is an enthusiastic, cheerful and energetic girl who tends to over-hype even serious topics. However, María doesn't do it with malice, she only shows her emotions differently.

Lucía Castilla Perales

Another friend in the group. Lucía is optimistic and friendly, welcoming new things with open arms. She is seen to be loyal to her friends, but often calls them out on their questionable actions.

Noemí Roldan Segura

Eric's neighbor and good friend of the others. Noemí is a straightforward and confident person, usually saying what's on her mind without hesitation. She's level-headed and is often the realist of the group, keeping her friends out of trouble.
