Synopsis[]
When Jiwon, a 37-year-old cancer patient, walks in on her husband and best friend, she realizes her whole life has been a lie. What’s worse, she dies a tragic death at the hands of her husband. Would things have been different if she had made different choices? Fortunately for Jiwon, she is given the chance to rewrite her fate when she is reincarnated as her younger self. This time, she vows to live a happy life. But first comes revenge. Her plan? To marry off her now former best friend to her lying, cheating husband.

- Kang Jiwon (강지원): The protagonist of the series. After being beaten to death by Minhwan upon discovering his infidelity with Sumin, she is reincarnated back in time to change her fate that benefits not only herself, but also her friends, and get revenge on Sumin and Minhwan. In the first timeline, she marries Minhwan, becomes depressed due to Minhwan's negligence and treatment from her mother-in-law, develops cancer, and is beaten to death. In the second timeline, she takes steps using her memories of the first timeline to break off her marriage with Minhwan and develop a relationship with Jihyeok.
- Yu Jihyeok (유지혁): The deuteragonist of the series. A stern manager who is easily flustered with romance. In the second timeline, he attempts to get closer to Jiwon and eventually become her lover. It is revealed that Jihyeok first met Jiwon at university when she took care of a cat named Gompang that Jihyeok eventually took in.
- Jeong Sumin (정수민): The main antagonist of the series. Although outwardly friendly, she is a mean-spirited habitual liar and will do anything to make herself look good and draw all attention towards herself by victimizing herself, typically making others look bad and especially causing misery to Jiwon's life. In the second timeline, through Jiwon's interference and knowledge of the previous timeline, Sumin begins losing credibility and attempts to lie to protect her image, but this ultimately begins falling apart. She likes Minhwan and steals him away from Jiwon, but this results in a tumultuous relationship.
- Park Minhwan (박민환): The secondary antagonist of the series and Jiwon's husband in a previous timeline. He is very selfish and negligent towards Jiwon's feelings. He first dated Jiwon as a dare in the first timeline, but never broke up with her out of pity because she is too nice. He eventually beats her to death after being caught cheating with Sumin. In the second timeline, he hooks up with Sumin and is caught up in Sumin's multiple lies that causes him to get married to Sumin, causing him regret.
- Yang Juran (양주란): A co-worker of Jiwon and Jihyuk. In the first timeline, she resigns after being framed at work and unable to care for her child. In the second timeline, Jiwon helps her maintain her job by exposing the incompetence of a higher-up and helping Juran share responsibilities with her lazy husband. Her child is named Lee Yeonji (이연지).
- Baek Eunho (백은호): Jiwon's first high school crush. Jiwon intended on professing her love to him through letter, but due to Sumin switching letters with her own, he misunderstands Jiwon's feelings and disregards her for the rest of high school. Despite this incident, Eunho attempted to contact Jiwon years after high school to make amends with her and begin their relationship again as friends. He is the owner of Blue Cafe, a cafe on the first floor of Jiwon's workplace.
- Yu Huiyeon (유희연): Jihyuk's sister. She works in the same company as Jiwon and Jihyuk. She begins developing feelings for Eunho.

- Minhwan's mother: She is a verbally abusive and demanding woman. In the first timeline, Jiwon lives with Minhwan and her mother-in-law and endures the daily berating of being an insufficient wife to Minhwan.
- Jiwon's father: Although making few appearances through the series, he is an integral part of the story to how Jiwon begins living her best life in the second timeline.
- Han Jiye and friends (한지예): Sumin's high school friends. Although initially siding with Sumin, after Jiwon proved that Sumin was telling lies back in high school and still currently lies, they apologize and begin siding with Jiwon, helping Jiwon sabotage Sumin and Minhwan.
