some romance stories don’t feel like “just manga” for me, they feel like full-on K-dramas in panels. Deep emotions, longing looks, complicated relationships and that slow burn that hurts in the best way. Sometimes i just want to take some rest from kdramas and read some manga. a lot of teens (so do I) are into something like Under the Oak Tree, Lucia, The Abandoned Empress, What It Means to Be You and Light and Shadow the kind of stories where romance is intense, dramatic and impossible to put down. I also reading romance manga on different webs like HoneyToon or Tapas, especially when I’m in the mood for something emotional and cinematic, it really gives the same feeling as binge watching a Korean drama which i'm addicted to, just chapter by chapter. If you love romance with tension, longing and characters who feel painfully real, this genre is something you’ll recommend forever.
